Greetings to the FLORIAN 2025

Dear visitors,

Welcome to the 24th FLORIAN!

400 exhibitors - a new record - from 15 countries are looking forward to your visit in four exhibition halls and on more than 30,000 m² of outdoor exhibition space.

The interest in this trade fair remains high and the desire of the emergency services to exchange experiences is great. The devastating forest fire in Gohrischheide in July showed once again how important technical equipment and the exchange of knowledge are, but above all how important the people are who risk their lives as firefighters and helpers to protect the lives of their fellow human beings. I would like to thank all these emergency services from the bottom of my heart.

The trade fair presents the latest vehicles and vehicle concepts, innovations in respiratory and body protection, developments in technical assistance and forest firefighting, in short - from A for respiratory protection to S for special situations and Z for proportioners.

But technology is only one side of the coin, knowledge is the other. FLORIAN also offers an excellent platform for this. The Saxon State Ministry of the Interior will be presenting itself together with the state fire brigade associations of Saxony, Thuringia and Brandenburg and the Saxony Youth Fire Brigade Association on various topics under the motto "One for all". They will also be presenting the "Aspect 112" and "Emergency Aftercare Team" projects.

In conjunction with the rescue service forum "aescutec", FLORIAN will address the overarching cooperation of all rescue services in fire protection, rescue service and disaster control operations, and the State Fire Service and Disaster Control School of the Free State of Saxony will hold a conference on the topic of "Preventive Fire Protection".

In addition, the Saxony State Fire Brigade Association (Landesfeuerwehrverband Sachsen e. V. ) is in charge of organizing a civil protection congress at which many stakeholders will exchange information on the latest findings in the field of civil protection.
